I did two thing for the 'fallen-out-mirror' in my 95. First, I used really sticky double-sided tape after cleaning the heck out of both surfaces, then used a nice, even bead of clear silicone around the outside. Once I cleaned off the excess it looks pretty good and seems to be very secure.
