MAK says "Car Quest E8011 is what I swear by for my 1968 V4."

Similarity of part numbers makes me near certain that Car Quest E8011 is identical to Airtex E8011 as sold by Napa (Airtex is a mfr, Napa sells in an Airtex box, Car Quest sells same in a Car Quest box). I have an Airtex E8011 sitting here and it is a 6 volt pump. This style of pump does not have a rotary motor as do some, but a solenoid-operated back-and-forth diaphragm, and this feature of its design may enable it to run happily on 12V which could seriously shorten lifetime of a rotary 6V motor. However I would feel better running the 12V version which Napa tells me is E8012S. That's what I use and it works fine.
