If you mean pulling the rear brake drum (which has the bearings inside) then it shouldn't be too difficult IF you make sure the handbrake is released, and turn the brake adjuster all the way out so the shoes aren't touching the drums at all.
It may take some kind of puller to get it started -- I just use a big three-jaw gear puller, which I bought at one of those cheap-Chinese-tool outlets for something like $15. All you need the puller for is to pop it loose initially; once that's done, you usually can work it off by hand.
Okay, if the shoes are stuck to the drums (happens sometimes with a car that's sat for a long time with the handbrake on) then you do need a puller. King of pullers is the SAAB factory part, which West of Sweden SAAB has had reproduced.
