This is the same as Airtex 8012, this should be widely available, cost about $40.00. That is what I use.

Parts houses that deal to repair shops may have more competent personnel than those like Pep Boys and Autozone that tend to cater more to do-it-yourselfers. Where are you located?

Search this board and Vintage Models for "electric fuel pump." You may find other numbers than the 8012. I had erroneously mentioned Airtex 8011 in one post you will find, that is the 6 volt version of the same pump.

"Others are not available locally. Of couse I can order a $200 pump from Summit racing, but that is overkill. The art here is to do things affordaby and correctly. Apparently there are pumps out there for $30 that will work. I figure that with a relay should cost $40-50 tops."

Suitable pumps are not high-powered items and should not require a relay.
Post back if you need wiring advice. Instructions will come with the pump.
