Hi:
My baby,,, I've worked on and had her for over 20 years. She got flooded by the storm serge that hit the Florida keys Oct 24 "Whilma". I changed the oil as soon as we could get back, and she ran and drove well up until two weeks ago. Slowly the clutch would not return, starter slowed, now she will not crank over. I'm broken hearted. I guess a need a line on a good motor and trany, but I don't know where to begin. It's really hard getting things down to the Florida Keys and trying to find someone good to work on a SAAB here is,,, just not possible. Does anyone have any sugestions I love the car and want to save it but with sea water up to the top of the wheels, I'm afraid she'll just rust away even if I could find a Motor and trany. Anyone been through anything like this, I'm lost at where to begin.
