Honing the slave clutch....

....Nothing is ever easy. ;-)
Some crap on the wall of my slave. May have caused the initial failure. Does not look like corroded aluminum, and it sits proud. It does not form a crater in the wall. Alumium polish and carberator cleaner both do not help disolve this crap. I bought a medium grit honing device. I will hook up to my drill tomorrow and lightly hone the entire slave for maybe 2 seconds.
Why can't things be simple?
Oh, and the hole for the bolt holding the damned thing in the tranny is partially stripped. If there was another slave around I would just buy it, but as it is I will helicoil if the bolt cannot tighten down properly.
