Yes, I posted before of this topic, yet a Saab member(Viggen) typed that the White Post rebuilds wear quickly due to the brass sleeve that is installed.

I myself was thinking the same thoughts. Brass is a soft metal!

As I stare at the Sonett, I now recall a conversation I was having with the PO. As we were doing the transaction, he stated that the master was rebuilt by White Post.

I've decided against using White Post.

I wish to know if this Master cylinder was used in other cars. Anyone had any luck obtaining a new unit? Viggen typed that there is a venodr inthe UK that sells them, yet I am hoping for a company in the states that imports them to quicken the transaction.

Since my master cylinder is installed, does anyone have the casting or part number to the unit? (1971 Sonett) I can commence ringing British supply houses once I have the Lockheed number..
