Muffler in EACH of the rear weel wells? It isn't stock now. Do what you wish.
Check the pipe diameters. I found that by using 2 1/2 inch from each head to a 2 1/2 inch Y, then a single 2 1/2 inch pipe back to a single Magnaflow tucked up behind the right rear wheel (the stock location), it really aided breathing over the stock twin 1 1/2 inch pipes back to the twin 1 1/2 inch inlet stock muffler in that one corner.
Each 1 1/2 inch pipe has a cross section area of 1.77 square inches. Two of these is 3.53 inches. A single 2 1/2 has 4.9 square inches, 40% more flow capacity, and is ligher than twin pipes, too.
