Color: Black Trans: Automatic Mileage: 183,000 Price: $2500
I bought this slightly used in 2009 and It has been meticulously maintained by a Saab specialist since then. It runs great, has good tires, and just passed inspection but does have the following issues noted by Saab specialist: valve cover gasket starting to leak, both inner cv boots leaking grease, front struts are rusty, brake vacuum pump is leaking oil. Other issues: driver heated seat doesn't work. Missing piece of roof trim. Small dent above rear passenger wheel—no rust or chipped paint there and hard to see. Door locks work but some need to be done by hand. AC blows cold. Turbo is strong. Clean. No body panel rust. New rear hatch struts. All records included. Driver airbag replaced under recall. Has been a daily driver until a few weeks ago and can still be one. Only dash light is tire pressure system which stopped working long ago.

- 1999 Saab 9-3 Viggen (Posted 8/25/2025)
Share this Saab->
Color: Lighting Blue Trans: Manual Mileage: 201,000 Price: $8,000
First year Viggen, only 426 of these were imported that year and this is a pretty good example of one. Just hit 200,000 miles, I've owned it for the past 50,000. I have used it as my daily for 4 years, but since the train came to Windsor it's not getting driven and no one in the household can drive a stick so I'm letting her go. It's been super reliable for me, replacing normal stuff during that time. New radiator, cv joints, maf sensor, Goodyear tires, not much else. I'm super neurotic about the oil, change it every 3,000 miles and drive it pretty conservatively. Here's a list of things done prior to my ownership- At 80k, the engine was rebuilt with oversize forged pistons, new clutch, upgraded bearings, PCV #6 update (no sludge), sport engine/trans mounts. Sitting on lowering springs, Koni full adjustable sport shocks, Enkei rims, Taliaferro/Genuine Saab steering rack brace and upgraded rear anti-sway bar, BlueSaab V6.1 module (goes in place of 6CD changer to have Bluetooth w/ stock radio & steering wheel control). The paint looks great from far, but does have some chips here and there, no dents. Drivers side seat has a tear, seat warmer not working. No issues on the passenger side. One small chip on windshield, no change with it in over a year. I replaced the windshield once and it got the chip a week later, couldn't bear replacing it again. The car runs amazingly, super smooth and good pull with the turbo. There is a sticky lifter that taps for a couple of minutes when it's cold, goes right away. Been there as long as I've owned the car with no change. Note on the license plate- most Saab people know that Viggen means thunderbolt in Swedish, named after a fighter jet. Viggen also has another meaning in Swedish, Tufted Loon. So I christened her the Crazy Loon. Will miss her.

Color: Jet Black Metallic Trans: Manual Mileage: 94,000 Price: $15,950
I have a 2009 Saab 9-3 Aero Wagon in the XWD variety with a 6 speed MANUAL TRANSMISSION up for sale. This car is a unicorn. I have lowered the ride-height of the car, matching that of a standard 9-3 Aero sedan / wagon. This particular 9-3 variant comes with 18" Saab 'Turbine' wheels, which are not OEM. Tires are newer, and do not need replacing. The clutch is very strong. The car came to me with an almost-new differential. The entire XWD drive system, sans the drive shaft / axles, was replaced just prior to me purchasing from the original owner. (I'm the second owner) This is a West Coast vehicle with the exception of a year and a half in Michigan, where it was originally purchased (Detroit) through the GM Employee Program. The previous owner lived in Seattle and Fort Collins, CO. There is minimal oxidation. Questions from serious buyers only please. Low-ball offers will politely be ignored. Thank you for looking!

Color: Grey Trans: Automatic Mileage: 147,440 Price: $4250
Same owner 10+ years, car runs great. Sun Roof, Heated front seats, allow wheels, m-shift option with shifting nobs on the steering wheel. New AC compressor installed August 2024, AC runs great. New paint job to repair hood, roof and trunk done in early 2024. Zero issues with engine and transmission. This was my primary card since acquired around 2014, it had around 80k miles at that time. Maintenance records for 10+ years available, used same Saab Certified mechanic in NJ the entire time, he is the BEST. Check engine light comes on every so often, related to the fuel injector, turns off on its own. Recent error messages that have appeared, 'Stability control failure' and cornering headlight malfunction. These seldom show, but go away. Mechanic couldn't find anything wrong because message subsided. Price reduced in the event maintenance will be needed soon after acquisition. Looking for a loving home for this Saab Aero that has been ultra reliable.

- 2009 Saab 9-3 Aero XWD (Posted 8/12/2025)
Share this Saab->
Color: Black Trans: Manual Mileage: 180,460 Price: $8,000
The time has come for me to sell my dream car, my 2009 9-3 Aero XWD. I've loved this car since the day I bought it at 154,000 miles. I rescued it from a used car lot in New Mexico (they bought it from an auction) so I unfortunately have no prior service records for it. Registration is up to date and smog was done on 8/8/2025. To make things simple, here's a rundown of the good and bad. The good: Turbo X wheels (previous owner painted them black) and carbon fiber interior trim, interior is near perfect, subframe/undercarriage are rust free, accident free, two functioning key fobs, clutch & flywheel replaced at 168,000, coils, spark plugs, & water pump replaced at 172,000, prop shaft boot, motor mounts, and A/C compressor replaced at 174,500, pads and rotors replaced at 182,000. Lots of other little things have been repaired/replaced, I can provide a spreadsheet documenting everything I've had done to the car. I also have paper copies of invoices for all of the work. The bad: Needs new tires, transfer case has slight leak onto passenger driveshaft, power steering rack leaks into bellows, A/C controls are a bit off but work fine (can get cold and hot air), paint is peeling in a few spots, stitching is popped in one spot on the passenger seat. It also comes with a bunch of extra parts that I have included in the photos including a power steering rack, brand new rear rotors, and an Aero steering wheel. Feel free to email or text me with any questions or photo/video requests.

- 2008 Saab 9-3 Turbo X (Posted 8/11/2025)
Share this Saab->
Color: Black Trans: Automatic Mileage: 118,750 Price: $7500
I bought this Turbo X because it needed a motor(I had a spare motor waiting for this moment) and I would have hated to see it in a scrapyard. This thing is overall in good shape. Pros: AC works good; new continental tires that are very smooth; two keys; good motor and trans (replacement motor has similar mileage); body has all original paint; seats are in great shape; lower mileage 118k Cons: needs a driveshaft; drives perfectly fine without it but it would be nice to have XWD; has some rust on both rear quarters; a few dents on rear quarters from a basketball hoop . I'm hoping to pass this onto someone who wants to get into a TX for a reasonable price. These cars are awesome, but I like my aero more as it is tuned and is manual so I'm keeping the Aero and selling the TX.

I have the left over pint of paint if interested. Changed oil every 5k with 15W-40 full synthetic. Tires have 5k miles on them. Everything works and interior is in great shape. Color: Blue Trans: Manual Mileage: 140,000 Price: $3,000 or Best Offer
Selling a well-loved Saab that's ready for it's next adventure. Blue with tan leather interior, 6-speed MT, 2.0T. I am the second owner, and have done all regular maintenance over the last 10 years with an excellent Saab mechanic. Cosmetically, this car has the standard wheel arch rust and peeling clear coat, but structurally it is in great shape and will last for many more years even without repairing the arches. Mechanically, the chasis and suspension are a 8.5/10, but new struts/bushings may be on the horizon if you really want to push it into the corners. As it drives now, it's one comfy, floaty, speed demon! There is currently an intermittent check engine light caused by low compression in one cylinder. Likely just needs new plugs or a coil, but could be a fuel injection issue. Car doesn't have full power when compression issue pops up but it is drivable. If you are attending the Saab convention in Parsippany this week, the car is located 45 minutes away and available to be checked out anytime — or I can bring it to you! Could be sold for parts if interested.

4 cyl, 2.0 turbo engine, front wheel drive, original clutch. Parchment interior, sunroof, power everything,16 inch alloy wheels and overall in good cosmetic condition inside and out. Bought it in 2011 with 27,000 miles on it. One previous owner, clean title. New shocks and struts installed last year. AC was replaced in 2022 and blows ice cold. No major issues through the years. I actually still love it very much. Current issues include: driver seat damage to leather due to malfunctioning seat heater, right rear passenger window regulator needs to be replaced. Current codes (PO304 and P1312 ) indicate it may need valve work (new coils and plugs didn't do the trick). The car is well loved. Would make a great project car for someone with mechanical experience and an appreciation for these cars. If you're attending the convention in Parsippany later this month, this car is about 20 minutes from there! Serious inquiries only. Selling it as-is, where-is. Bring a trailer. Thanks!

Parchment Leather interior. I'm a multi-Saab owner, and my overfull driveway forces me to part with one. I'll be driving this car to SOC in Parsipanny, if it doesn't sell prior. I'm the 2nd owner and purchased this Saab from a Volvo dealership in 2020. At 75,000 miles (in April 2020), I spent $3,000+ to have the engine's valves professionally reconditioned to resolve a valve/compression issue common for 07-09 4-cylinder models. Since then, the car has had no related problems. Maintenance and repairs have been performed by my long-time mechanics in Westchester, NY, with records available. New battery (February 2025), brakes and Continental 17" Sport tires. Tire pressure sensors replaced. No engine lights. Interior is clean with no wear on dash, control panels. Radio, CD, Aux, Bluetooth and cup holders work as they should. Note: Fuel sending unit needs replacement—I've been using trip meter. Remote lock on driver's door occasionally acts up but locks manually and sets the alarm properly. Exterior has some wear on the lower front lip and a few minor scratches.

Color: Glass Grey Trans: Manual Mileage: 93,381 Price: $12,500
6 speed manual transmission Aero with XWD. Runs great with no mechanical problems. Body is solid with no dings or rust spots. Clear coat has some peeling on the top panel and passenger rear panel. Interior is black with carbon fiber trim.Interior is in great shape and recently detailed. Up to date with oil changes and XWD service. Newer all season tires with less than 2k miles on them. I am the fourth owner and have driven it on weekends as a second vehicle. The frame is very clean and was never driven in the NY winters. I am in the process of moving and I want to downsize. I want to make sure this car goes to a good home that can enjoy the car for what it is meant to be. This car has plenty of power and handles spectacularly. Quite a rare model, being only one of 5 built for the US market in its color and configuration. Feel free to reach out for any questions or if you want to see more pictures.

In very good condition with one exception: It is currently showing a Steering Lock Malfunction error code and will not start. When error code is not showing, it runs smoothly. Person who buys it will need to know how to fix the error code or have it towed to a shop that does. (Euro Auto Masters in Scotch Plains can do it.) Price discounted by more than expected cost of towing and repair.

Color: Black Trans: Manual Mileage: 103,798 Price: $5,000
Hello all! I got a 2008 Saab 9-3 2.0T with a 6MT. It's got a new clutch plate, flywheel, hydraulic cylinder, rear main seal, new radiator, new ac condenser. All very recently done in the last year. AC works as it should now that it has the new AC condenser. The shifter is extremely stiff, but goes into gear perfectly fine. It's just getting it to the gear is the difficult part. It was already kind of stiff after I got the clutch/flywheel/hydraulic cylinder/rear main seal replaced (all done at the same time), it's been sitting for about 5 months and it's become pretty stiff now. Accelerates great, gears don't slip, and it doesn't grind getting into gear so I don't think it's the transmission. It doesn't have a muffler at the moment but it will come with a new one ready to go that I bought off of eSaabparts. Tires have good tread on them, and all the fluids are at the right levels.

SOLD
Color: Nocturne Blue Trans: Automatic Mileage: 161,400 Price: $3200
This Saab has the 4 cyl, 2.0 Turbo engine and has all-wheel X drive. It has a 6 speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters, and manual shift option. Bought it new from a Denver dealer that got it from the bankruptcy in 2013. Leather bound steering wheel, 17" wheels, heated seats, sunroof, K&N drop-in air filter. New all-season tires at 143546. C blows ice cold/heat is hot. -white fog lights, -rebuilt drive shaft at 118k – New ECM 10/1/20 w/ ECM heat deflector installed -synthetic blend oil change at every service. Only current issues are the gas gauge that reads empty until tank is down to about half full, then reads correctly. The rear drive shaft boots will need replacing, per my Saab mechanic, and the clear coat is coming off the middle roof section, and the trunk lid. There are also a couple small seal leaks, one on the transmission, and the other on the drive shaft to transmission. It is a safe car, great in the snow, reliable, comfortable and fun! CLEAN CO TITLE!
- 2009 Saab 9-3 Aero SportCombi XWD (Posted 6/23/2025)
SOLD
Color: Pepper Green Metallic Trans: Manual Mileage: 126,xxx Price: $2000
Well, the time has come to part ways with my beloved 9-3 Aero XWD Sportcombi. An upcoming move has me needing to offload her into the loving arms of her next owner, and life circumstances has left her with a laundry-list of needs. It's been reliable for me (for this generation 9-3, mind you), delightfully quick, hilariously spacious inside, and just an absolute dream to pound out long, fast highway miles. Pertinent info is below- THE GOOD -B284r, turbo, and trans in great health -126k mi on the odo -two owner car, first being elderly Dr. who drove the car sparingly -no rust on frame, slight rust in one small section of body panel -full options (Satnav, sunroof, parking assist, Onstar, etc.) -all new tires in past year -1-1/4" hitch receiver -rear shocks/dampers replaced 2yr ago, removed nivomat system -oil changes on time -new clutch, master cylinder, slave cylinder performed 30k mi ago -XWD 30k mi ago -2 keys! THE BAD -ABS module (need mating to ECU via Tech2. Plenty of info on saabcentral on this) -needs new driveshaft carrier bearings – driveshaft removed but included with car (jxbperformance makes replacement) -engine/trans mounts need replacing -squeaky bushings in front end (prominent in cold or at startup, fades with driving) -slight misfire at idle—due for plugs, potentially coilpacks -fuel gauge inop. (fuel sending unit faulty, causes car to always read empty) THE UGLY -paint fading on roof, chips around -driver seat leather falling apart, passenger seat meh -plastic of handbrake handle flaked away -sunroof very recently stopped working—symptoms line up with anti-pitch system fault -missing center SAAB emblem in grill -small dent from P/O on left rear quarter panel -rattle at low rpm from heat shield--needs welded in place -door locks are finicky and will decide at random which door will not lock via main button (can still lock via lock tab) My only requirement is for the buyer to love her and care for her in the ways I couldn't. Absolutely stellar car—deal of a lifetime for the right person, nightmare of the year for the wrong person. So don't be the wrong person! More images upon request.

SOLD
Color: Black Trans: Automatic Mileage: 104,000 Price: $9500
Rare V6 AWD wagon. My grandfather bought this car brand new in 2008. A clean car with no accidents nor engine modifications at any point. Spent much of its life in Maryland prior to bringing it back to the midwest. Services (in addition to regular oil changes, plugs, coils, etc) have included the coolant expansion tank system, the differential flushed, and all new suspension on all four corners (including replacing the self-leveling dampers with Bilstein B4s). No lights, codes, bad smells, etc. Options include the cold weather package, touring package, XWD all wheel drive with engine upgrade to 280hp, and roof carrier bars. This car is 17, so not without minor paint flaws, but it has been well cared for. I am near the MSP airport and can meet out-of-state buyers.
- 2008 Saab 9-3 Aero (Posted 6/11/2025)
SOLD
Color: Laser Red Trans: Manual Mileage: 142,544 Price: $10,500
Very nice 2008 Saab 9-3 Aero in FWD with the 2.8L V6 turbo and 6 speed manual transmission. This car has one of the most documented maintenance and upgrade history around with nearly everything within the past 7yrs posted on YouTube under the channel "Weakest of Weeks". Due to other projects and limited storage space, I've decided it's time to sell my pride and joy to share the passion this Saab has given me. Highlights include: 22T/18G turbo, Bosch 700cc injectors, AEM #50-1000 fuel pump, Prolific Builds downpipe and midpipe, Do88 intake and intercooler pipe kit, evo 8 intercooler, and 6 brand new ignition coils. The intake plenum, all Do88 pipes as well as the downpipe have been ceramic powder coated black to help with heat management. Car is conservatively tuned for reliability by Vermont Tuning and estimated to have 355hp and 420lb ft of torque. For the interior the black B50 leather interior is in great shape. The SatNav radio fully functions as does the OEM Saab Bluetooth phone pairing. Also included is a set of Saab all weather rubber floor mats. The exterior has an authentic Hirsch trunk spoiler, replica Hirsch diffuser, LED fog lights & day time running lights that are properly programmed to avoid any bulb errors, power fold mirrors, refurbished 18" Opel Astra J/Insignia VXR replica wheels in mint shape with nearly new Goodyear tires. The headlight lenses have been restored and sealed with 2K clear and the hood freshly painted to eliminate any rock chips. It has a clean Ohio title, comes with a binder of receipts, includes 2 OEM key fobs, doesn't have any check engine lights and had a new AGM battery installed in 2024. For the asking price, the car includes the handheld Vermont Tuner and connection cables.

In good running condition and has good power. I originally purchased the car new in 2005. The under seat amp stopped working and was removed and bypassed for sound. There is some surface rust above the rear passenger side tire. There are areas where the paint has faded (hood, etc) and normal scratches, etc. for a 20 year old car. The car had a recent oil change and a radiator hose replaced.

SOLD
Color: Black Trans: Automatic Mileage: 137,500 Price: $6000 or Best Offer
Selling my very 1st SAAB due to limited parking and not driving it enough. The car deserves to be driven and loved by a fellow SAAB person. Car runs well. No rust. Everything functions as they should except known issues outlined below. It was my daily driver for about 6 years so there are normal wears around this car that are typical of its age. Also including SAAB OE parts, many discontinued. Worth >$800. Fitted w/SAAB roof rack. Known issues: sunroof not working. Alerts on startup, including an anti-theft system and coolant level low signals. Both are non-issues: coolant doesn't leak; just a bad sensor, and car alarm works fine. Rear bumper cover paint is peeling from a bad paint job. Had a few small fender-benders. All work done by professional body shops and photos are available. Maintenance during last 10k miles: new spark plugs, 4 new shocks and springs, new battery, new engine mounts, trans fluid, brake rotors, serpentine belt, and lots more. Oil change every 5k miles/6 months. 4 Michelin PilotSport-AS with >50% tread. I keep a spreadsheet detailing >$15k work done during ownership. Available upon request.

SOLD
Color: Black Trans: Manual Mileage: 90,xxx Price: $12,400
This is an extremely clean southern TurboX. There is no rust on this car. The body is very straight there are no flaws in the paint except for a couple of minor touch-ups One is on the bumper below the parking sensors the other is on the decklid and they are barely noticeable. The underside is as clean as I've seen there is not even surface rust on the exhaust, subframes or suspension parts. I will post more pics in the gallery soon or send them to you. There are a few flaws in the interior the driver's outer gusset in the bottom of the seat is damaged but the seats themselves are fine. All door panels, switch gear and the rest are in great shape.I would expect that this car with a good detail would easily place in the concourse category at a Saab show. It is bone stock.Since I have had it I have serviced the Haldex, checked or changed all fluids, oil changed, replaced the rear lower spring mounts as well as the front sway bar links. It needs nothing. - 2008 Saab 9-3 Turbo X SportCombi (Posted 5/2/2025)
SOLD
Color: Jet Black Metallic Trans: Automatic Mileage: 148,580 Price: $8999
Bought in 2021, 1 of 135 TX wagons stateside, car received a rebuilt title under my ownership due to a front-end collision in 2022 that wasn't severe enough to deploy the airbags. Before the accident, I had put a new eLSD differential into the car, new rear axle and boots, and new plugs and coils. After the accident, I rebuilt the front end: new bumper, trim, hood, passenger quarter panel and door, radiator, intercooler, condenser, impact bar, and passenger headlight. Blower motor and ACC module are brand new, and A/C has been freshly recharged. Brand new Bilstein B4's in all corners. All of that being said, the car is not showroom ready. Steering rack leaks, new headlight needs to be married with a Tech2, coolant sensor is stuck on low, fuel sending unit doesn't read until tank falls just above half full. One exhaust tip fell off during the accident and was pancaked by traffic, will include it in sale along with new foglight assembly for passenger side. Paint could use some paint correction to really make it pop. I have too many projects, I hope someone can take this beauty across the finish line.

Color: Metallic Blue Trans: Automatic Mileage: 135,000 Price: $3,500 or Best Offer
Single owner. Purchased in 2005, well-maintained and loved with regular service/maintenance throughout its life. Garage kept for 19 of the last 20 years. Engine runs very well, interior in great condition. Minor rust on rear passenger tire well. CD player does not work. Antenna cover needs to be replaced, as well as the sub-frame due to rust from Midwestern winters. Pirelli tires in excellent condition. I'd like this car to go to a collector/good home.
- 2002 Saab 9-3 SE (Posted 4/26/2025)
SOLD
Color: Cosmic Blue Mica Trans: Manual Mileage: 217,300 Price: $1800
Runs great! Tan leather interior. All windows work, moonroof is a dream. New shocks, struts, and alignment August 2024; AC recharged May 2024. Brakes at 9mm. Has never been garaged so the clear coat is in rough shape on the roof and hood. Missing the cover on one fog light and front passenger door unlocks with a click but needs a manual lock. There's a small leak in the coolant system; you could chase it down or top it off every six months. The leather on the driver's seat is rough but functional. There are, of course, little dings and scratches that come with a car this age. This would be a fantastic project car or first standard transmission for a young driver. Maintained by T Scandia and then SVS in Portland, OR.

SOLD
Color: Silver Trans: Automatic Mileage: 126,882 Price: $3500
2.8 V6 turbo. Clean and clear title in hand. I've owned for the last 4+ years and put a lot of new parts into it. All of the following replaced within last 15k miles - front and rear suspension parts including control arms, tie rods, cv axles, sway bar links, bushings. Front and rear rotors and pads. Bilstein struts with Lesjofor hirsch spec springs (slightly lower than stock aero). All fluids have been flushed and replaced. Motor mounts, plugs, coil packs and belt done. Ac and heat work fantastic. All windows and sunroof working. A few aftermarket upgrades - D088 intake tubing, X2 battery, Taliaferro mid pipe with high flow cat, wired for sub and amp with factory head unit, euro spec clear taillights, 20% ceramic tint all around, Vermont tuning stage 0 tune with handheld V tuner ($600 value). Car is tuned to 320 hp and 360 ft lbs torque on 93 octane. Car also comes with esid3 plug in scanner / code reader ($300 value). Wheels are 18" Momo Etna, super light rotary forged (18 lbs). There are a few small things that need addressed but do not affect vehicle performance in any way. Upon startup a message appears on dash about security system malfunction, press clear button on steering wheel and message clears. Same with low coolant warning (only appears at startup). Coolant is full and not leaking, needs sensor replaced. Only 1 key fob. Random p0456 for evap leak. Cannot track leak but car never stutters or loses boost pressure. I have a brand new evap solenoid that I will include. Random oil pressure light just started a couple weeks ago, common issue on the v6, needs new oil pressure sensor, no issues with the engine. Car just passed emissions 2 months ago. Car has some clearcoat peeling on roof, a few small dings but nothing bigger than dime sized, no body rust and minimal surface rust on frame. No leaks. Leather interior in good shape with a little wear on driver seat bolster. Car is solid and has never let me down, but I don't have the time to keep up on it or space to keep it any longer. It has honestly been one of my absolute favorite cars to drive. Asking price above as the few small repairs have been taken into account.

- 2007 Saab 9-3 Aero V6 (Posted 4/15/2025)
SOLD
Color: Black Trans: Manual Mileage: 171,560 Price: $2200
This is a V6 Aero with a 6-speed manual transmission. The vehicle is in good working condition with a couple issues: the fuel gauge needs replacement, the clear coat on top surfaces (hood, roof, trunk) needs to be fixed and it has intermittent issues with the alarm. I have full service history, both keys, all manuals and tools. I also have a new SAAB authentic front skirt (lower front bumper) that I am willing to give up for its cost ($200 extra). I am the second owner, but I had this car since 2009.
