While perhaps appropriate for internal useage (and long a
tradition within the automotive industry), you folks aren't
selling 'units,' people aren't buying Saab 'units' from the
dealers, and Saab owners sure as hell don't think of their
prized Swedish automobiles as 'units.' Why not use the
simple term 'cars,' or maybe 'automobiles?'
Just a passing thought, which you certainly are free to ignore
if you wish.
