Ourswas a well used example --- 12 owners, two engines, 130,000 miles.The welding required was horrific.We're currently looking for another, less degenerate, one; we'd like oneof the last ones made, circa 1978, but will probably settle for amid-seventies one. It'd make a new friend for our Citroen BX and the1974 Hillman Avenger (== Plymouth Cricket) which we use for the sleazierparts of town.Has anyone on the list run a 96? Any points to look for to add to thosewe gleaned from ours (don't worry about the diff whining; bleed theclutch often; check BOTH halves of the brake master cylinder...)Has anyone views on the durability of 99s and 900s?
