The units are sold as complete units, AFAIK - Belt, reel, mountings, pretensioner. The pretensioner is part of the reel assembly. Saab recommends replacing the entire unit should the pretensioner ever fire.
A 9000 unit from a car that has an airbag should pose no different mounting problems. I doubt a 900 unit would, either, but at least we know the 9000 unit goes where the unit you already have does.
