My Saab 1993 9000 CSE

Hello fellow Saab owners!
I'm a new member here, and I have some questions that I hope someone can
help me with.
First, Is there anyone using their alarm system in their 9000? My
mechanic told me that most 9000 owners just disenable their alarm systems,
because it never seems to work properly. For the ones of you that are
using the alarm system...... how do you have it set-up?
Second, once is a while my 9000 has a irritating tick-ticking sound from
the dash board. It sounds like a fast tick from a clock.
And third, once is a while (too) my 9000's gas pedal becomes
non-responsive. I step on the gas, but the car reacts very sluggishly.
It's like the feeling of shifting from 2nd gear to 3rd gear when you are
not going fast enough..... do you know what I mean? By the way, I have an
automatic.
If there is anyone who can help me out, I would be very thankful.
