C900 tire sizing
Posted by andrew m. boardman (more from andrew m. boardman) on Sun, 10 Dec 2000 09:30:40
I'm looking at tires for stock 5.5x15' wheels for a C900. Can anyone advise from personal experience as to the feasability of using 195/65R15 or even 205/65R15 sizes? Speedometer error is not an issue, although clearance *very* much is. (The tires are for a rally car.) Has anyone used larger?
I'm thinking that 195/65 would probably work, but 205/65 is on the bleeding edge of too wide, to say the least.
thanks, andrew
