Just got a 9kcse and have some questions
Posted by CA9000CSE (more from CA9000CSE) on Thu, 18 Jan 2001 19:44:57
Hi all,
Well, I made the switch from my '88 SPG. This past weekend I purchased the '94 CSE up in Silicon Valley. Almost everything checked out ok and I got decent price on it.
I do however have two questions I hope other 9k owners can answer.
1: Some of the lights in the ACC unit are out. On the far right bank of buttons (air distribution set I guess is the best term to use), there are no lights on any of buttons. All of the other dash lights are fine. Is this one bulb that burned out or are there seperate bulbs for each button? How easy are they to replace?
2: What are you doing to compensate for the loss of the glove box? This is probably my only complaint about the car. Well, that and the fact that there are no cup holders, and the ones I used in my 900 won't fit. I find the center console just too small and akward for the stuff I used to keep in my 900's glove box.
Are there any aftermarket bins or something that you have found work in the 9k?
Thanks
Craig
