Don't do it!
Spend the few bucks for the Saab brackets. There are a pair of tapped holes in
the back side of the bumper on either side of the license plate frame. The 2
hanger bolts (extreme ends of the bumper) come out easily, and the bumper comes
off and back on in a flash!
You can even fashion your own brackets, but use the tapped mounting holes that
are already there!
