Subject: install used engine with 150 compression
=================
hi

my Swede (sorry, its the OTHER swede, from the tractor maker) needs a new 5
cyl engine (went thru a flood) and i can easily and cheaply get one with 150
compression in each of th efive cylinders. dealer says 180 - 185 is new
compression.

is 150 too low ? they also say the oil pressure reading is 50, but at what
rpm, there is no information.

any advice ?
thanks very much !

jay
