Hello. Please help when you can. Currently I am an owner of a Classic '92
Saab 900 t. CV right here in Stark County, Oh.
The other night I was involved in a motor vehicle accident which was in no
way, shape or form my fault. I was driving my black on black with gray guts
'92 Saab CV with only 59K miles which I have owned for the last 8 years.
The insurence Co. now maintains that my vehicle has a TRUE value of only
5300$. They sent their guy out to inspect the vehicle and found my vehicle
to be in NO LESS THAN PRE-ACCIDENT AVERAGE CONDITION and then they totalled
my vehicle. After viewing your site for years now, I am having real
difficulties beleaving their stated value.
You are right here in No. Canton and certainly have a true knowledge or
better feel as to what the value of a fifty nine thousand mile black on black
with gray leather interior, auto trans, 2 year old top, all options and a
AIRFLOW KIT, the type that has one piece front and rear bumpers, would
actually be in our greater area.
Is there a way in which you can assist a fellow owner in my predicument. The
Insurence Co. is calling Chey Dealers in an attempt to establish a value.
Something tells me that they have plans to GIVE ME THE SHAFT!!!
It is my opinion that if I allow this Insurence Company's value to go
uncontested then I am undervaluing all our vehicles and establishing a norm
for them to refer to when the next accident involves a Saab.
