I have a 93 9000CSET that I'm very happy with so I'm biased BUT... It has
about as much room as a 9-5 wagon, ride is very nice if not BMW-like. 5-spd
manual is preferred for mileage, performance & reliability reasons. The ACC
blower motor goes every 100k mi or so. My clutch and starter went at around
160k mi. I've heard complaints about the Traction Control system (TCS) and
Di cassette but I've had no problems. Be aware that the crankcase
ventilation on the 9-5 has been a problem resulting in rapid oil
deterioration leading to increased engine and turbo wear. I think it's been
addressed on the latest models.
