My guess is that it's either the temporary enrichment system (idles ok but stumbles on acceleration) or the warm up regulator in the CIS control pressure system (runs too lean when cold) or the O2 sensor. (Tries to take control before it's warm enough to work). With a CIS pressure gauge and Lambda dwell meter the right person could probably pinpoint it in 30 seconds. (They'll need to see it cold, though. We used to put the pressure gauge on the night before and run it, then let it sit overnight and test it the next morning.)
