For the hitch itself, the Da'Lan is just as good as the SAAB OEM. I have
towed other SAABs with the Da'Lan on my '86 9000T, with dolly and tow bar.
No hitch problems whatsoever. Should be available for $165 + shipping.
Shop around some more. It's available at http://www.hitch-web.com,
and
probably also at http://www.sasab.com.
Andrews sold me my 9000 Da'Lan hitch
for $165, and they used to retail for the same price as the classic 900
hitches, although there are 2 types of these: One for earlier 900 (like
'84) and one for later 900 (like '89). Don't know about NG900, 9-3 or 9-5.
The SAAB wiring harness would be the one to get. It's worth the $30.
