Squeaking front right wheel
Posted by Clive Newell (more from Clive Newell) on Sun, 17 Oct 1999 10:46:09
I own a 1988 Saab 900i (116K miles). It has recently started to squeak at the right front wheel. This only starts after a couple of miles (something warming up?). I thought at first it was the brake pads sticking because the disc and hub are very warm - but only on the right side. I jacked it up and found that the wheel was moving OK so it didn't appear to be the pads. The squeak is now being accompanied by a 'groan' at the front wheel so I am getting a bit worried about it. Have you any suggestions - wheel bearings?
