1987 900T: Turbo whirr, fan blower squeek, fuel rail clatter

Hello everyone,
My 1987 900 Turbo with 135k is acting strange. Actually it runs great but
has begun some, well, oddities. Maybe someone has an idea?
1. I have a strange whirring, murmur, mutter noise from the turbo. At
least I THINK the turbo is making the noise. At idle you can hear from
inside the car a murmur (dry bearing?) noise that oscillates with the RPM.
My car basically idles smoothly, with just a hint of wander. This noise does
not occur when you first start the car in the morning, only after it gets
slightly warm. Anyway, I used a large screwdriver pressed to my ear while
the car is running and touched the various components to find where the
sound originates. It seems to come from the turbo. Yet it doesn't smoke at
all and I have great performance. It doesn't howl or screech, just quietly
whirrs. Any ideas? Does this make sense?
2. The fuel rail is clattering. Perhaps it's just the fuel injectors? Is
the fix on the townsendimports website also applicable to 900's? It says so
on the shortcut, then the final page is for the 9000 series. This clatter
is pretty loud!
3. My blower motor started a slight squeek. Is there anything else to do
besides replace the blower motor? Is OEM the only way to go?
4. IF my turbo is needing replacement, is it for sure that my head gasket
will go too? I will do the turbo myself (what the hell I've done everything
else on this car) but probably won't do the head gasket. Any thoughts?
