The dealer gave me a 2003 9-3 loaner for a few days while my '99 9-3 base was in for service, and even my 185hp 9-3 would absolutely spank the new 9-3. I was not impressed with the car. I'm sorry to say, but it drove like a midsized Japanese car. Also, parked it next to a new Jetta and I almost couldn't tell them apart.

Looks like I'll be driving my '99 2dr for a long while, or until SAAB comes out with a car that at least resembles the older ones (and a 2dr hatch, pleeeeese)!
