Things have changed boys and girls.....Saab (and GM) have gone to "Value Pricing". They have taken the markup away from the dealers. If you check the MSRP of the 2005 vs the 2006 models, you will see the 2006 is less money. Plus they have also added content to the vehicles. The dealers DO NOT have the big markups and incentives to give away. Right now the only incentive on 06's is a $500 Year in bonus cash and a $500 Alternative merchandising assistance for a total of $1000. The average mark up on a 06 9.3 sedan is $1400-$1500 so dealers who are giving $2000-$2500 discounts are practically giving it all away, the only thing left is the 3% holdback.....less than $1000.....OH BOY!! GEE Thanks!! Do you want us to stay in business to be here to service your Saab's? Do you go to Walmart and tell them they are making too much on an item and tell them that you will only give them a certain amount for it? I know that's the way it is but let me tell it SUCKS!!!
