I have a 9000 sedan, a 9-5 Aero sedan and a 9-5 wagon. I know the literature says that the 9000 is a bit bigger on the inside but the space is not nearly as useful as the 9-5 nor are the rear seats as comfortable. I fail to see how a 9000 hatchback could hold nearly as much as the 9-5 wagon. I also don't think Suv's will be of much help unless you go to a really big one. Third row seats should never be put in a small car because the trunk is the rear crumple zone. A van would be the best choice but what can I say, they have lost any pretense of being cool so it is just a matter of time before this effects their resale. But keep in mind a van is a very safe configuration for a vehicle much moreso than a comparable suv. Good luck with your choice. Keep a Saab for a second vehicle if you can. We just take to cars if we have to. That was our solution but then my kids drive.
