I mentioned in an earlier message about purchasing a 1999 9-5 coming off a lease. The vehicle was leased in Canada and has had the Saab dealer inspection and is in good condition. My question is that the vehicle warranty history shows the car has been in for work 15 times during the 3 year lease period. I believe 2 or 3 of these were for Saab recalls while others were for items as minor as replacing a bulb, replace spark plugs and things of that nature. There were no major engine, drive train or serious repairs on the list. This seems like an unusally large number of trips to the dealer considering, as I understand it, the work list would only show the work done at GM dealers and this one particular Saab dealer but would not show repair work done at the dealer where the vehicle was leased. Should this be a cause for concern or is this an average number of visits under a bumper to bumper warranty where you would take the vehicle in even for minor repairs.
