I choose heated seats (front and rear), cd changer, rear dog guard and rubber cargo mat (for the Sealyham Terriers) when I bought the car. I later added mudflaps (after going through one too many road construction sites), hood deflector (as I was getting stone chips-I also had a couple of pieces of Stongard done), and saab's phone mount(for obvious reasons). Being an SE, the only things I opted not to do were ventilated seats (too costly for too little reward in my opinion and they are noisey-I had driven a loaner Saab with them for 3 weeks so I knew what they were like) and wheel upgrades (aesthetically, the standard wheels were pleasing enough). It all comes down to what you want and what you are willing to spend for it. Had they not been standard in the SE, I would have gotten the automatic transmission and the auto dimming mirror-had this done in my 9-3 and loved it-it gets plenty dark enough, but you can still see._
