Based on other owners' reports on this site, my gas mileage is horrible. I've driven about 50 miles around town on a new tank of 93 octane, and the SID has been showing 16.5 mpg so far. If I had found that to be acceptable gas mileage I would have purchased a different car. The mileage average from the previous owner was in the mid-twenties when I test drove the car. I'm not sure how often he cleared out the info display.

The main thing that worries me is the fuel smell that I can detect when at a stoplight or when idling in park. It's not the "I dripped some gas on my shoe while filling up" kind of smell. It sort of sickly sweet, but still gassy. Anyone had similar trouble or know what might cause this?
