Essentially I believe that GM will offload Saab - maybe we should all band together and make an offer??! Limit the product range to 9-5 Aero's and bring back the 900 SPG!

But of course, a business must make money. You may be right on parts though -my dealer had a 3 week back order for serpentine belts for the 9-5.

If you look at the new models, from steering wheels, radios, heater controls up front and to oil filters under the hood etc. - they are all being standardized from the GM parts bin. And I think they have the model line up wrong - I mean who is going to buy a 9-7 - it's a thinly disguised Trailblazer (who buys those?) and isn't exactly pretty! I think only the 9-3 is keeping the company going.

I'm on my 5th Saab with my 03 9-5 Aero but I honestly think it will be my last. Just not convinced by the 06 9-5 facelift or the future of the brand under GM.
