Why is it that anything that is going well at Saab is due to the success of the Swedes and when something goes wrong it has to be GM?
Two things are causing this situation. Since 9-11 it is more difficult to ship things into the U.S. Second, a new customs agent is handling the paperwork and we all wish they could be doing a better job. Now weather Saab or GM made the decision to switch processors, I don't know. Not everything in this world that goes wrong can be dropped at the feet of GM. While there are a number of things GM does often doesn't make sense, you should try and deal with the Swedes.
