It's highly unlikely that the market price for this car is going to be driven by what you think of the finish of the wood in the interior. If you are really serious about buying one, but do not like the wood, just make the dealer a reasonable offer and tell them to clinch the deal, they have to throw in the wood dash pieces form an 01 car,which fit right in.
This can't be the only thing stopping you from buying. I think that Saab missed the mark on dash trim as well,especially on the Aero, and I will be doing a wood swap on mine when delivered as well. They have done a stellar job in turning wood into plastic!
