Due to the lowend torque, turbo boost and the transmission, the 9-5 SE V6 performs as good as (if not better than) other V6s rated at 225HP and 260HP. Its performance will not let you down.
As a lucky owner of multiple mid-size luxury cars (all L6/V6), my 2001 9-5 SE exceeds my expectation in comfort, reliability and performance. I highly recommand it.
I did not buy the car because it is a SAAB, I bought it because it is a good car. There is no pure Japanese car, American car or Swedish car. They all cross-share components in certain degree.
