my father asked me, when I went to see him over Christmas, if I thought that the 4 cylinder in my car had enough power (I have a 9-3 Viggen). I told him that I would take him for a ride in the summer, and he could decide. I think that he won't ask me again if the car has enough power, once I take him for a ride.
One nice thing about 6 cylinder engines is that they tend to have torque lower in the rpms than 4 cylinders. I have a 6 cylinder in my truck, and it has quite a bit of torque even when I'm barely crawling along. Personally, I like the turbo woosh of the 4 cyl better, but the torque of the truck is nice when it snows.
