Good lists. Here are some additional items that have stuck out to me in the 6 months that I've owned my 9-5 Aero. My list of positives is short because other people have covered that pretty well. Many of the negatives noted by others don't bother me, but unfortunately I have my own list. Don't worry, I still love the car.
Positives:
1. Speed warning.
2. Weather band radio.
Negatives:
1. Can't lock doors with interior button when getting out of car. Have to get out, close door, then lock with remote. This is a hassle at times, particularly when you have your hands full.
2. Inefficient console layout/storage. 2nd cupholder takes up most of console storage bin. Could have put key on dash and window/lock controls on doors and had a lot more space to work with in the console area.
3. Front and rear fog light buttons are not clearly differentiated.
4. ACC operates in dual-zone mode all the time (not sure if it's supposed to, but mine does).
5. ACC engages compressor almost all the time. I prefer to only run the compressor when needed.
6. ACC fan is quite loud when running at full blast, and it frequently runs at full blast when you start the car. I'd be willing to sacrifice some cooling/heating performance for quieter operation.
7. More squeaks & rattles than I expect in a car of this class with under 10k miles.
8. Engine RPMs decrease too slowly when accelerator is released. This makes it difficult to shift quickly and smoothly from 1st to 2nd with manual tranny. May only affect Aero?
9. Non-dimming side-view mirrors. If Buick can make auto-dimming side view mirrors, Saab certainly should be able to also.
10. Non-illuminated buttons: audio controls on steering wheel, cruise control stalk, overhead sunroof and interior light controls.
