Some days ago I put a message asking about the differences of the 97 to 99 9-5 2.3t and the 2000-2001 2.3t engine, I read in this BB that this engine was reinforced... AS I explain in the message with 50000km my father's car, a '99 9-5 2.3t aut. must change the trionic(I see in english you say ECU, and the butterfly of the electronic trotthle, the problem is that the engine puts in "limp home" mode and the "chek engine" lights on) another problem that didn't happen to my father's car it's a problem with the SID of the climate control. In the last review, with 100000km our dealer change the SID climate control in guarentee, he said that had a problem and we didn't detect them. Also our dealer said that we must put in all saabs the tire pressure to 2,5 bar(36,25 psi) this it was a information that comes from saab, says that this upgrade of the tire pressure is better for stability and doesn't reduce the comfort.
