Tom,
O have check alot of the item you menationed. I've replaced the bat. already and still had the same problem. I don't think it's a drain on the system because when I put a good bat into the car (fully charged) I still had the bat light in the dask lit up. So that makes me think it's not a drain on the car while it sits. As far as the connections I have checked those too. Nothing wrong. I couldn't find the voltage regulator on the alt. I have swapped them out before on my 85 900 with no problems. I was looking for it to check the gap on it and to give it a good look over but like I said, I couldn't see it. I think I'm going to replace the bat. cable and see what happens. A rebuilt alt will cost me around 250 and a couple days to get here. So I need to act fast. This is my daily driver saab. The hot rod 900 isn't ready yet since the turbo exhuast upgrade.
