If the car is an Auto then I would buy a second brake pedal and cut off the existing surface and have the second on welded along side of the existing one. This will move it over by a bit and keep the stock aperance. You can also take the second brake pedal to a weld shop and tell them what you want. They can cut and weld it up so it is offset the amount you want. When you sell the car you can give the buyer the human sized brake pedal.
