Been there done that with T5 9-3. I made my own adjustable bleeder valve where I could dial in the max boost just before fuel cut, and it made significant difference. But with T7, I'm not sure if it's really worthwhile....I played with it a bit when I traded in my 9-3 for current 9-5 (Linear) and thought it made little difference. Maybe I was looking for sustained max boost like I got with 9-3 and overlooked quicker spool-up??? Or the mod is just more noticeable with Aero-spec. motor? Anyway, with smarter T7, bleeding off W/G actuating pressure can not fool the system much anyway, so my thought would be why waste charged pressure and let the turbo spin more for nothing? I would rather go with rod shortening and/ or helper spring. I am at 3mm preload with the rod , and wondering a few more turns.
