PA drivers are more safe (though that is a relative term) and courteous (and thank you when you let them in!) than NY. though people go 85-90 on I-95 in delaware county, usually they dont zip in front of you and weave lanes like they do more often in NY. Chester City is the exception and I;m sure Philly is too (glad I don't commute there).

My wife grew up 2 hours north of NYC and people used to drive like they were all from the country. Now that more people commute all the way to NYC, driving on route 9 in Dutchess county is not unlike the bronx now.

People are bringing their me first, I'minahurryandIdon'tcare attitude from the city to the suburbs.
