Couple of things to check. Had this on a clients '01 9-5 Aero last year.
Check the Fuel Pressure Regulator. Its the cylinder looking thing on the fuel rail with a vacuum line going to it. Remove the other end of the line to the intake manifold and apply vacuum. If it does not maintain vacuum, or fuel leaks out (dont use your mouth to apply vacuum) then it is faulty. Vehicle will typically run okay once started but will crank longer before firing.
Second, check the fuel pressure feed line check valve. Located on top of the pump, one line will say "feed" on the pump. There is a small check valve located in line to maintain pressure when vehicle is off. On T7 you can prime the system by turning key and not starting. Pump will turn on. Do this twice and then try to start vehicle.
For the slow cranking, I know you just replaced your battery, did you really clean all the connections on the positive and ground cables? Get a $3 battery terminal brush and clean the cables and leads really well. Next (with battery disconnected) remove the lead from the starter (13mm) and the alternator (13mm) take a wire brush and clean the terminal on the positive cable and the contact on the starter and alt. Have corrosion here many times cause a slow crank and high resistance from the alt to the battery. Spraying all the leads with terminal protector is not a bad idea and will help keep buildup from returning. While you have the cable removed, check for any places where the insulation is coming off the positive lead where corrosion can form in the wire strands. I have replaced two positive cables this year alone on '02+ 9-5s because the insulation was falling off (think '86 900's).
If going though and cleaning all this does not help, there is a chance that the starter is failing and pulling too much amperage when engaged. Replace this last.
