my D.I. died on me had a spare damaged one in the trunk put it in the car is surging and bucking at idle and prob with misses during running. so I went to a local dealer bought a new D.i 218 bucks i was amazed (he gave me a discount) put it in the car runs but still bucks and jumps!!! its a 2001 aero 9-5 auto. so I read up on here about the T.B. cleaning (checked it, it's pretty clean but wiped it out anyway) but then i noticed on the back of the t.b. (toward the fire wall) its a two prong sensor plug facing up the connector part was snapped off and just resting in place. the dealer ship says they don't have it and that it should be part number 5337845 but all he can tell is that its a soleniod. no idea what kind. i'm glueing the connector back together to see if i can get a better connection since it seems fine besides the connectiion. but I still need to know it this sensor could cause this bucking jumping surging idle and what the thing is actually for.
again its on the back of the T.B. two prong and square/rectangle shape. maybe part number 5337845
