haha yea I long for those days too.
Although I recall changing out the heater control valve in my '84 turbo. now that was a nightmare!
But in all fairness, our climate control system is much simpler to work than others. I looked into a problem on my buddy's Lincoln LS with dual climate control. It was an awful mess of controls, sensors, water to air heat exhangers, etc. I'd choose our system over that anyday.
