I have already replaced my reirc door arm earlier in the summer (motor was fine, the arm was broken). Everything worked fine after that. Then my air temp controller went out (fan would only run at low speed), and when I took the left side apart to get to it, I noticed the stepper motor stop was broken. I fixed that and all my codes went away, and everything seems to work fine (at least it goes through the motions). I even laid under the driver side and ran it through self test a few times. Everything is moving, but when it is all together, it is blowing hot on the driver side, and normal (whatever you set the temp to) on the pasenger side. I have been upside down working on the system enough that I can get it all apart pretty quick now. I just feel like with as many times as it has been apart that something has gotten out of sync. I may just take it all apart again and put it all back one piece at a time and see if I can get it to work together again.
I too live in Phoenix, so I have to get it figured out by spring or the car will be like an oven. And I used to think aircraft were complicated. Thanks for your input--Jason
