I just had a very good coolant leak on my 06 9-5 Sportcombi with 46k miles. Looked under the hood and kind of in the middle bottom of the car by the firewall you'll see a black dome with hoses coming to it. This is where my leak was. Dealer replaced under warranty just last week, it was the "heater bypass valve" which I think people here also call the coolant bypass valve. It would leak, get on the exhaust, burn, and I would get a puddle under the car and coolant smell in the cabin. However, I did NOT have any Sid message, but of course this was just over 24 hours, so maybe the coolant didn't get that low.
