Onstar, Not too impressed

Here is my experience with setting up onstar on my 2002 9-5 linear wagon.
Sunday night about 9pm decide to activate onstar after having the car a couple weeks. I hit the button, I get a recording saying somebody will be with me soon. After holding for a couple minutes the connection gets very staticy and then drops the call. I call back, same deal. Decide to call back in the morning.
I call at 7am and get right through. The lady takes all my info and then asks me to back the car out of the garage to pinpoint my location. She says to hold, after a couple minutes I'm disconnected. I call back, the guy says I am all set up and then confirms the address that he found me at which was incorrect. He tries it again and still gets a wrong address. I think he had the peoples address behind my home. I guess onstar can't find you if you live in a subdivision of closely spaced homes. Bummer.
Anyways, being disconnected 3 out of 4 times didn't really impress me very much. Anybody else find that this is the statis quo or unusual? I live in the middle of a city, so cell coverage is typically very good.
It seems like my cell phone is all I need. I'm never lost when I'm driving around my home town. Anybody use their onstar often?
