I have used the following three oils in my 9-5s:
Shell Rotella-T
Mobil-1 Turbo Diesel Truck and SUV
Total Quartz Energy 9000 (formerly Elf Excellium)
Mobil-1 can be found almost anywhere but is the most expensive if I can't find a good sale. Shell is the least expensive but I've used it the least also. Total was sold in one litre bottles until recently which gave a few more ounces of oil with each oil change when compared to one quart bottles. I buy the Total oil at an Import Car Parts Store which requires me to plan trips to the stores when approaching oil change intervals.
