The article's drivetrain section (pg. 75) shows gear ratios and overall speeds at 6000 rpm for 1st thru 4 gear (manual trans), and at 5200 rpm for 5th gear. They also indicate that for some of the cars, top speed is electronically limited.
The Aero shows 150 mph at 5200 rpm. My owner's manual states that the turbo boost is reduced once 143 mph is achieved. Did R&T get a bootleg car? They did run all 11 cars to at least 100 mph, but for all of them except the X-type, they show an estimated top speed for top gear.
