That's an interesting idea Boris.
My 2003 is an Arc, which is a V6 and not known for PCV issues (at least to the extent the 4 cyls are).
I was getting some small leaks and drips, and after ruling out things like the pressure switch and so on, took a closer look at the PCV lines running to the separator box. I found that the larger line was in good shape, but the smaller one, with the check valve in it that runs to the throttle body was split at the throttle body.
So, I replaced the hose and check valve, and then noticed that the brass port on the separator was completely clogged. I cleared that out using a very thin drill bit and a pipe cleaner. I did that twice about a week apart, just to be sure it stayed open.
I'm pleased that the drips are gone, and there are no discernible leaks. Just about to turn 240K.
Worth taking a look to make sure those ports are clear as part of the PCV check.
