I would not "throw parts at it". Do a voltage check on the car with just the battery and then the battery with the car running.
Then do a load test on the battery. I ALWAYS suspect the battery first.
YES, cables can be bad too.....especially check for corrosion INSIDE the positive cable.
You can get a load tester for $20. I have that and a computer load battery tester the is $70 and the one really is a great tool to check batter condition.
